The Super Bowl 56 halftime show was a game made in millennial heaven.
It was time they left Bruce Springsteen and the Rolling Stones and introduced music for the younger generation.
Sunday’s epic performance which included hip-hop icons Dr. Dre, 56, Snoop Dogg, 50, Mary J. Blige, 51, Eminem, 49, 50 Cent, 46, and the “baby” of the group, Kendrick Lamar, 34, served as a stark reminder that Generations X and Y are now old.
And the internet had a lot of fun with our collective awakening.
“Anyone born between 1985 and 1995 saw the Super Bowl halftime lineup and was like, ‘nice, instead of doing a show for old people like the Rolling Stones or Paul McCartney or The Who, they made one for us young people'” tweeted @rodger.
“And then 10 seconds later it hit us,” the tweet added.
Yes, we are the “old” ones now.

We took this seriously.
We were dancing like it was a prom.
And we all ended up like Blige on our living room floor.
The children are still confused.
