The attacker waited for the victim outside the house before raping and robbing her in the Bronx

BRONX (WABC) — A man was caught on camera waiting for a woman to leave his house before raping and robbing her in the Bronx.

Police say the attacker was seen crouching and waiting for the 38-year-old woman at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday near Beech Terrace and Beekman Avenue.

Once outside, the man pulled out a knife and demanded that she follow him.

The woman was driven inside St. Mary’s Park where he raped her and took her debit card.

He then fled west on East 141 Street.

Shortly after, he charged $3 to a nearby grocery store’s debit card.

The victim received treatment at a local hospital and is in stable condition.

According to police, the attacker was wearing a very distinctive hoodie. It is described as “a burgundy sweater with the words ‘Primitive’ in it.

It is part of a collaboration between Primitive Skateboarding (a skateboard line) and Naruto Shippuden (an anime series).
