The ’60 points in an NBA game’ quiz

The Minnesota Timberwolves have only made the playoffs once in the last 18 seasons, but are on course to make at least one Western Conference game this year. A big reason for that is the play of three-time All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns. Averaging just under 25 points and 10 boards per game, Towns wants Wolves to make the playoffs, as evidenced by his record-breaking 60-point performance against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. Towns had 32 points in the third quarter alone, tied for fifth all-time. Wolves rarely give their fans a reason to smile, but with Towns, Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell all playing this season, things are starting to look up in Minneapolis.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Throughout NBA history, only 31 players have scored 60 or more points in an NBA regular season game, a list that now includes cities. So, with that in mind, how many of the 31 can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
