The list of weird things Elon Musk is attached to continues to grow, and this time it’s a beer. More precisely, it is the Gigabeer, or Gigabier in German. What is that? We really don’t know, but it’s an adult drink inside a container vaguely reminiscent of the Tesla Cybertruck. Really, it’s a little piece of celebration as Tesla prepares (hopefully) to start production at its new Gigafactory in Berlin next month.

Musk announced the beer at a special event at the factory last weekend and didn’t say much other than that Tesla would make it. It will likely be similar to Tesla Tequila, in that it will be some sort of limited-edition drink that collectors will pick up and try to keep. Bottles of Tesla Tequila, with or without the alcohol inside, can sell for $ 1,000 these days. The bottle was selling for $ 250 when it was new.

Perhaps the Gigabeer will arrive by the end of this year to coincide with the potential start of production at the new factory. When the new Gigafactory goes live, it will be tasked with assembling the Model Y to begin with, but it could also play a role in an even cheaper Tesla vehicle to come. Musk previously seemed open to a Europe-centric model like a Model 3 hatchback.
