Teofimo Lopez and Devin Haney clashed in a heated clash after Sandor Martin’s upset victory over Mikey Garcia on Saturday night.
The American four-weight world champion was the big favorite in the fight against the little-known Spaniard.
However, ring rust was apparent in Garcia’s performance.
He had not fought since March 2020.
Martin took the opportunity and overtook him for a rambling majority victory.
Outside the ring after the fight, an even more vehement clash erupted.
Young lightweight stars Lopez and Haney came face to face with their fathers by their side.
Lopez, 24, holds the WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO world titles after dethroning Vasyl Lomachenko last year, while Haney, 23, owns the standard version of the WBC title.
Teofimo is likely to defend his belts against mandatory challenger George Kambosos Jr on November 27.
Meanwhile, Haney tries to finalize a defense against Jojo Diaz the following week.
When they met ringside on Saturday night, Haney and Lopez figured if they both win, they should meet early next year.
