We have assembled a XIII of the most remarkable artists from the five games played this weekend on Matchday 17 of the Betfred Super League season…

1. Jackson Hastings (Wigan Warriors)

Another solid performance from Wigan’s full-back helped the Warriors secure a comfortable victory over Super League bottom Leigh Centurions.

Hastings crossed for a try and assisted two more in the 50-6 win, coming on his back with 216 yards, five tackle saves and a clean break.

2. Umyla Hanley (Wigan Warriors)

The 19-year-old seized his opportunity after replacing injured Liam Marshall with his first senior-level hat trick as Wigan beat Leigh at DW Stadium.

Hanley’s booty came on the back of a 150-yard run, making three tackles and also making two clean breaks.

3. Samisoni Langi (Catalan Dragons)

A try from the center helped the Catalans extend their unbeaten run to a club record of 12 games as they defeated Hull Kingston Rovers 23-16 at Hull College Craven Park on Monday.

Langi’s try came on his back doing 163 yards with an average gain of around 10 yards, with a clean break and a tackle break.

4. Harry Newman (Leeds Rhinoceros)

Newman continued his impressive comeback after a long-term injury with two tries for the Rhinos, but unfortunately couldn’t stop them from falling 27-26 at home to Warrington Wolves.

The cross also covered 137 yards, making two clean breaks and four tackle saves, and just edged another two-down cross in Leroy Cudjoe of the Huddersfield Giants for a spot on our squad.

5. Jack Welsby (Saint Helens)

The 20-year-old showed his versatility for the Saints again by playing a big role on the wing in the 42-10 win over Hull FC on Monday night.

Welsby ran three tries for the visitors to the MKM Stadium, as well as 108 yards, breaking three tackles and making a clean break.

6. Blake Austin (Warrington Wolves)

Austin was among the test scorers for the visitors as Warrington claimed a thrilling victory over Leeds at Emerald Headingley on Sunday night.

His score came on the back of the UK international carrying 109 yards, realizing a crisp break and four tackle breaks.

7. George Williams (Warrington Wolves)

Williams’ first game for Wolves after joining them from the Canberra Raiders turned out to be eventful as he was instrumental in the victory over the Rhinos.

He provided a decisive pass for his new club, carried 57 yards and tackled a tackle, all while pulling off the decisive drop goal in the dying minutes.

8. Mikolaj Oledzki (Leeds Rhinoceros)

A try capped another solid first-row performance for the England international as Leeds edged out at home to Warrington on Sunday night.

On top of that score, Oledzki completed 119 yards with an average gain of around nine yards per reach, making a clean break and breaking three tackles.

9. James Roby (Saint Helens)

As is so often the case, Roby was at the heart of things for St Helens as the defending champions came out of Hull FC with a victory.

The hooker provided his team with two assists, along with a nearly 50-yard carry and around eight-yards gain per carry, including four points from the half-model.

10. Nathaniel Peteru (Huddersfield Giants)

Leroy Cudjoe scored 2 tries as Huddersfield was a comfortable winner against inexperienced Castleford side

The mainstay played an important role off the exchange bench for Huddersfield as they won 34-16 at Castleford Tigers on Monday.

In addition to scoring a try, Peteru completed 115 yards with an average gain of around 10 yards, made a clean break and broke two tackles. He also made 26 tackles in defense.

11. Jack Hughes (Warrington Wolves)

Huges made a massive second-place defensive change for Warrington as they knocked out Leeds, recording 51 tackles for his side.

The Wolves captain was also strong with the ball in hand, covering 114 yards with an average gain of around eight yards and making two tackle breaks.

12. Liam Farrell (Wigan Warriors)

Another strong second-place performance from Farrell helped Wigan secure a convincing victory over Leigh in the derby.

He scored two tries and provided one assist, in addition to carrying 99 yards, making a clean break and four tackling breaks.

13. Joe Shorrocks (Wigan Warriors)

Versatile back row Shorrocks produced another test display for the Warriors as they secured a big home win over Leigh on Sunday afternoon.

Playing in the free front, he also had an assist, made five tackles and carried 137 yards.
