Team GB curling pair Dodds and Mouat claim three out of four wins

After a narrow loss to Switzerland in their previous match, the British pair looked set to secure a third win in four matches when they took a 6-1 lead.

But Australian duo Tahli Gill and Dean Hewitt upped their game to close the gap to eight apiece and force an extra inning.

Dodds and Mouat had the hammer and, following a mistake by Gill with their draw, did not need their last stone of the match for a 9-8 victory.

The top four round robin teams will battle it out for the medals with Dodds and Mouat marginally considered favorites heading into the event.

They return to the rink on Saturday to play twice against the Czech Republic before a clash with Italy.
