Tawanchai bets on Superlek to beat tough Danial Williams but says he ‘may not get knocked out’

The Muay Thai Phenomenon Tawanchai PK Saenchai bets on Superlek to beat Daniel Williams, but not without a fight.

This Friday, Divisional Kickboxing King Superlek Kiatmoo9 will no longer be locking horns with Rodtang Jitumuangnon but with Danial Williams at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. Although the news comes as a shock, a Superlek vs. Williams showdown is the next best thing.

Muay Thai bantamweight king Tawanchai PK Saenchai is excited to see how the two forwards will face off this Friday as they are both used to putting on great performances. In this case, however, he’s leaning towards his friend to beat Danial Williams, but not without some type of challenge. Speaking to ONE Championship, the 23-year-old star predicted:

“Personally, I like Danial. He is a fierce fighter. He has a strong heart and heavy weapons. But I think Superlek is superior to him in terms of experience and physical advantages. His forehand is deadly. I think Superlek will win this fight but may not be knocked out because Danial is the toughest.

Williams enters the kickboxing scene with nothing to lose but everything to gain. He was originally scheduled to face Portuguese striker Rui Bolteho in a Muay Thai battle at strawweight, before being asked to replace Rodtang just days ago. Although he entered the foray with a list of disadvantages, he is ready to work for a shot at a world title.

Fans in North America can watch ONE Fight Night 8: Superlek vs. Williams live and free via Amazon Prime Video.

Danial Williams tells Superlek he’s coming for the win

‘Mini-T’ Danial Williams is taking advantage of the short time he has to get under Superlek’s skin before they meet inside the circle on Friday.

Williams is coming off a 5 month hiatus after suffering a devastating TKO loss to Jeremy Miado at ONE on Prime Video 3 last year. Prior to his loss, ‘Mini-T’ had a winning streak in MMA to establish himself as one of the most dangerous forwards in his division.

He is known for his aggressive, high-volume fighting style, which could cause a lot of trouble for Superlek who likes to fight at his own pace. To prove he’s not afraid of Superlek, Williams sent the Pattaya fighter the following message on Instagram:

“The pressure is on you, absolutely not on me. I will give you absolute war. I know you wanted to see the Rodtang-Superlek, so I’ll make it more exciting. I come for the victory, this belt is mine.
