The joint initiative aims to provide end-to-end charging solutions to residents of properties developed by JP Infra Mumbai Private Limited to make sustainable mobility achievable in line with the state government’s EV policy.
Tata Power and JP Infra Mumbai Private Limited are jointly installing over 60 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations across all JP Infra projects in Maharashtra – JP North Garden City (North Euphoria, North Alexa, North Aviva, Codename Dream Home ), North Barcelona, and Northern Imperia.
The joint initiative aims to provide residents with end-to-end electric vehicle charging solutions to make sustainable mobility achievable in line with the state government’s electric vehicle policy. The facility will allow residents with electric vehicles to access a 24-hour charging facility and connect via the Tata Power EZ mobile app for all services including remote monitoring of vehicle charging and electronic payments.
Shubham Jain, Managing Director of JP Infra Mumbai Private Limited, said, “This initiative will allow us to further improve the quality of life of our residents in a smart and sustainable way by reducing carbon emissions and accelerating the adoption of electric mobility in our projects.
Welcoming the development, the Tata Power spokesperson said, “We are developing our electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the state to contribute to the Maharashtra government’s goal of a rapid transition to green mobility. The collaboration with JP infra will provide a seamless charging experience for its residents. and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles.”
Previously, Tata Power had worked with Maharashtra’s National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) to install up to 5,000 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in Maharashtra and more than 150 electric-powered charging stations. unique to Mumbai.
