Tarascon-sur-Ariege. UST XV: the last echoes of the Moulin-Neuf

Sad defeat, Saturday, for the reserve, beaten in the dying seconds 19-22, while the players were in the Mazerian camp in the 79th minute. The men of Izaure and Huguet were therefore shot dead on Saturday in their lair at Moulin-Neuf. The encouragement, and the hedge of honor of the “guys” of the “one”, will not have been enough to carry their friends until the round of 16. The season therefore ends there, but not training.
Note that the first team is testing cryotherapy. It was at Cryo +, in Pamiers, that the pennant team discovered the benefits of a three-minute stay at minus 120 degrees. An appreciated experience, followed by a meal at Saint-Roch, in Tarascon, before the group went to support the “reserve”.
Reservists who will have an essential role, to present quality opposition to the pennant team, on Wednesday and Friday evenings. The technicians, Lopez, Huguet, Izaure and Dupuy are counting on them.
As for the cadets and juniors, they take a break at 7. Place therefore at “seven”, with a plateau in Daumazan-sur-Arize. The juniors finished second, beaten by VAL XV (Daumazan, Montesquieu, Le Mas-d’Azil), two tries to one, but won against Foix and Saint-Girons. The cadets fall twice, with honors, making Saint-Girons tremble, defeat 2 to 1. Another plateau was also organized in Mirepoix.
This weekend, place in the championship for the juniors, with a late match against the 3 valleys, in Saint-Sulpice-sur-Lèze.
A beautiful set also awaited the pitchouns at Tarascon, last Saturday. Nearly 70 children, aged under 6 (U6), invaded the Moulin-Neuf. Coming from US Foix, SC Saint-Girons, RC Mirepoix, UA Saverdun and of course US Tarascon, they gave their all under the gaze of the twenty educators who accompanied them and “coach” them since the start of the season. A wonderful morning under the sun.
