Sweden’s women’s national team have released their kit for this summer’s Euro 2022 tournament, featuring bold instructions on how to beat them.
The website where the shirt is on sale also includes a 34-page guide on how to stop the team, written by their match analyst Anders Eriksson.
Sweden are the highest-ranked women’s team in Europe, just behind the United States at world level, and feel confident enough to prove it ahead of England 2022.
However, they haven’t won an uninvited tournament since 1984, despite regularly vying for top honors.
That hasn’t stopped Sweden from boosting their chances this summer, with the kit and website detailing how to stop Europe’s top team.
Arsenal striker Stina Blackstenius discussed the design, saying her side were “better than ever”.
She said: “In the analysis, we lay out exactly how we win, how we play and how opposing teams – maybe – have a chance of stopping us.
“Our team is better than ever and we enter the Euros with courage and confidence.

“This summer we hope the Swedish people will be with us, it’s an important moment for our team.”
The ‘Complete Guide on How to Stop Sweden’ does just that, detailing how to prepare against the blue and yellow team.
“Sweden are one of the fastest teams in the world and also one of the best on the counter-attack,” reads the guide.
“Do everything you can to get the ball back once you lose it. Sweden will turn 52% of counterattacks into shots.”
The guide then paints a portrait of each member of the team, detailing their strengths, but also their weaknesses.
For example, Real Madrid striker Kosovare Asllani is featured alongside a map of her passes, crosses and carries.
“If there’s one thing to try to focus on when playing Asllani, it’s his passing,” reads the guide. “Do what you can to get Asllani to play in front of his own goal to avoid one-on-one challenges with your centre-backs.”
The guide’s creator, Eriksson, explained what it’s for.
“The numerical analysis of the team and the individual players is a clue for the opponents,” he said.
“Now they can just buy the football shirt for a chance to challenge them at the UEFA Women’s Euro.”
