Swalwell tells Trump fans to avoid ‘wreckage’ after FBI raid, hit over alleged romance with Chinese spy

On Friday, Congressman Eric Swalwell, D-California, tweeted a not-so-subtle threat against people who still support former President Donald Trump after the FBI raided Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago for allegedly retrieve classified documents that he was not authorized to have.

Swalwell warned that those who still support the former president have one last chance to “get off the Trump train” before he becomes “ugly”. Otherwise they would end up in “the wreckage” as he put it.

Undaunted, conservatives online lambasted the congressman, reminding him of his own alleged romantic involvement with a Chinese spy.

The California congressman began his stern tweet on Friday by saying, “If you’ve been on the Trump train for the past 7 years, you’ve made an unexpected stop. Time to get off. Wherever you think it’s going , it’s not .”

He accused Trump of stealing classified US government material and endangering law enforcement.

“Trump stole Top Secret documents. He put a target on the cops. This is getting ugly. Don’t be in the wreckage,” he tweeted ominously.

According to the FBI, “the bureau uncovered classified records from former President Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago…some of which were marked as top secret.” Although the former president insisted that all recovered documents had been “declassified”.
