Suspected Serial Killer Fredrick Scott Deemed Incompetent, Status May Change Later |  New


KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) – On Monday, a scheduled jurisdictional hearing for alleged serial killer Fredrick Scott was held.

Based on the most recent assessments from defense physicians and the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Scott is currently found to be incompetent.

It is important to note that he is currently deemed incompetent and his status may change.

He will remain in the Department of Mental Health for further assessment and will continue to engage.

A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for August 12 at 8:30 a.m.

As we have reported, Scott often refused to take medication while in detention.

Scott is accused of killing six people, including five men and a woman.

Many victims were shot on or near the Indian Creek Trail.

The homicides began in August 2016 and ended after Scott’s arrest in August 2017.
