Suspect stabbed on metro red line arrested

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the fatal shooting of a subway line B (red) passenger on Thursday.
Police arrested Randy Nash at 9:10 p.m. Saturday near the 1000 block of West 85th Street, two days after a man plunged a knife into the upper torso of Jesse Rodriguez, 23, according to a department news release Los Angeles Police Department. release.
Police said a man stabbed Rodriguez “without warning or provocation” on the train at the Pershing Square station in downtown Los Angeles at 5:20 p.m. Thursday and then fled. Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Nash is being held on $2 million bail.
