The man who allegedly raped a young relative got a ‘darling’ plea deal from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and is now charged with victimizing more people.
The suspect allegedly targeted five other people in the Bronx a month after the deal was struck, the New York Post reported Thursday.

“Justin Washington, 25, was promised a 30-day prison term, along with five years of probation, after agreeing in August to plead a coercion charge in his Manhattan rape case,” the report said. media.

Washington first landed behind bars on Feb. 23, after a teenage parent told police he raped her while they were watching TV together in East Harlem, law enforcement sources said.
He was charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse and forcible touching and thrown in jail on a measly $25,000 bond or $50,000 bail — though prosecutors asked a judge to set bail of $100,000 in the case.
However, Washington’s charges were later reduced to third-degree rape due to insufficient evidence. He was released after his bond was reduced to $12,000.
On September 15, the suspect allegedly engaged in a series of crimes. In one case, he allegedly entered a woman’s apartment and attempted to rape her. He allegedly masturbated on her and then asked for a dollar.
He was later tracked down and slapped with charges that included attempted rape. Additionally, a cash bond of $50,000 was set and the suspect was returned to Rikers Island.

“The suspect had been released without bail for beating a stranger during a robbery just three days before the attack thanks to New York’s ‘No Bail’ law, first imposed by former Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) and backed by incumbent Governor Kathy Hochul (D),” the outlet said.
