Surfer Óscar Serra has died aged 22 after falling from a 6-foot wave

Family and friends mourn the loss of a surfer scar Serra.

The 22-year-old star died on July 17 following a tragic surfing accident in Puerto Escondido, Mexico. The Spanish surfer suffered fatal injuries after falling from a wave that reached 6 feet before hitting the ocean floor, according to Men’s health, which quoted local media.

Euro News Weekly reported that rescuers were able to get Serra out of the water after the fall, but attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
