Wigan and St Helens feature in Sky Sports ‘live coverage of the August Super League rivals’ round

Sky Sports will broadcast three matches live in the Betfred Super League Rivals Round later this month, including the Wigan Warriors’ clash with St Helens and the Hull Derby.

Live coverage of the 20th round will begin with two of this year’s stars, Warrington Wolves and Catalans Dragons, taking on each other at Halliwell Jones Stadium on Thursday, August 19. On the same night, the Leeds Rhinos will host the Huddersfield Giants in a showdown in West Yorkshire. .

Former rivals Wigan and St Helens face off again at DW Stadium in the live match on Friday August 21, while the following afternoon action moves to MKM Stadium as Hull FC and Hull Kingston Rovers renew their rivalry.

The Hull Derby to air as part of Sky Sports’ Rivals Round live coverage

Elsewhere in Rivals Round, the Castleford Tigers host Wakefield Trinity on the evening of Saturday, August 21 and the action ends with Leigh Centurions hosting the Salford Red Devils on Sunday afternoon.

Rivals Round comes five rounds from the end of the Super League regular season and a fortnight before Dacia Magic Weekend at St James’ Park in Newcastle, and these matches are sure to create some memorable moments.

Thursday August 19: 7:45 p.m. – Warrington Wolves vs Catalans Dragons (live on Sky Sports), Leeds Rhinos vs Huddersfield Giants.

Friday August 20: 7:45 p.m. – Wigan Warriors vs St Helens (Live on Sky Sports).

Saturday August 21: 3 p.m. – Hull FC vs Hull Kingston Rovers (live on Sky Sports); 7 p.m. – Castleford Tigers vs. Wakefield Trinity.

Sunday August 22: 3 p.m. – Leigh Centurions vs. Salford Red Devils.
