Sudhanshu Pandey talks about the sudden death of co-star Nitesh Pandey; said, “It’s one of those times…”

These past few days have been very dark, especially for the television industry. Three stars died in the space of almost three days. Nitesh Pandey – a popular name not only in the TV industry but also in movies breathed his last on May 23, 2023. According to reports, he passed away after suffering cardiac arrest. He was 51 and believed to have been in Igatpuri at the time of his death. His funeral took place the following day. Nitesh Pandey played the role of Dheeraj in the best current show Anupama. Sudhanshu Pandey who plays Vanraj has now spoken out about the untimely demise of Nitesh Pandey. As reported by Hindustan Times, Sudhanshu Pandey said the news shocked him. He mentioned that it’s one of those moments that “takes you away” completely. He remembers chatting and bonding with Nitesh Pandey on the set of Anupamaa. They were talking about TV and OTT. Sudhanshu Pandey said, “He was satisfied with how the job was taking for him and was happy to travel from here to there for various things.” Sudhanshu Pandey revealed that whenever Nitesh Pandey shoots for Anupamaa, he comes to his room to talk. They had common topics to discuss as both were from Uttrakhand. Anupamaa’s Vanraj reportedly said, “When he came to shoot for the TV show, we were chilling, it was one Pandey meeting another Pandey. We were also from Uttrakhand, so we had a lot in common. So, we have used to exchange stories and laugh. Now all those stories are over. Nitesh Pandey also shared a very good bond with Anupamaa star Rupali Ganguly. The actress went to her residence to pay her last respects and was visibly upset as she left. Anupamaa gave a very warm welcome to Nitesh when he joined Anupamaa. Their friendship dates back to the Sarabhai vs Sarabhai era. She will be greatly missed. That his soul rests in peace.
