A bridge on which a subway train was located collapsed in Mexico City. The newspaper El Universal mentions a provisional toll of six dead and 80 injured, but the authorities have not communicated the number of victims.
A Mexico City skytrain bridge collapsed on the night of May 3-4 as a train passed over it. Images of the drama were quickly disseminated through Mexican media and social media.

The authorities did not immediately communicate any results of this accident which occurred near the Olivos station, on the metro line 12 in the south of the capital. However, the newspaper El Universal mentions at least six dead and 80 injured.
Local televisions showed dozens of firefighters and rescuers struggling through the night to extricate train passengers amid rubble, cables and twisted pieces of metal.
