Stock futures slide as Russia says it will continue troop build-up

February 17, 2022 3:46 a.m. ET

U.S. stock futures fell after NATO and a U.S. official said they saw no de-escalation on the Ukrainian border, despite Moscow’s claims of troop withdrawals.

S&P 500 futures fell 0.5% and Dow Jones Industrial Average futures fell 0.4%. Changes in stock futures do not necessarily predict market movements after the markets open.
