Meanwhile, Warrington fans have to wait a little longer for their first sight of former Australian test center Greg Inglis.

The 34-year-old has not played for almost two years after announcing his retirement in April 2019 and has been excluded from Wolves’ first two Super League games to give him more time to get back into shape.

Price has confirmed that Inglis, who has signed a 12-month contract, will not take part in Sunday’s Betfred Challenge Cup third round match against Swinton at Heywood Road.

“Greg will not be competing this week,” he said. “He’s getting very close. He trains quite a bit. It’s really exciting what he does in training.”
