“That’s wrong,” Colbert said. “If you’re going to show up at my door and bully me, at least let me buy a few boxes of Thin Mints.”

Colbert called some of them “cosplay brigadiers” because they wear special vests and wear fake badges. In some houses, they attempted to interview residents to find out who lived there. And at one residence they were accused of demanding the location of the daughter of the family.

“Good advice,” said Colbert. “The good guys aren’t usually the ones knocking on your door yelling, ‘Get your girl out!'”
