‘Spoiler Alert’: House Democratic Clowns Slam McCarthy’s GOP ‘Circus’ Tactics

Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) blasted House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-C.) and his Republican “circus” in an all-out speech that mocked him over a possible government shutdown and his call to launch an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

“We are 15 days away from a government shutdown that will affect millions of workers and Speaker Kevin McCarthy can’t even convince his own party to pass important legislation,” Frost said Thursday as time runs out to avoid a government shutdown. At the end of the month.

The president’s announcement came amid a looming threat of a shutdown as far-right Republicans threaten to file a motion to oust McCarthy as speaker, blaming him for not supporting lower spending.

“So America, in 15 days, when our country shuts down, remember who did this to you: Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the extremists in the House Republicans, who care more about themselves and their policies than you,” Frost said.
