Lewis also took to social media to try and locate the missing equipment, posting: “I would like some help locating a set of golf clubs… some kind of big tournament happening this week!”

A backup set of clubs for Kang is expected to arrive at Finca Cortesin late Tuesday evening, although there are fears his original clubs may have been entirely lost or at least unrecoverable in time for Friday.

Kang was seen playing with spare wedges while the rest of the U.S. team played on the course on Tuesday.
