Ramsey has struggled with injuries and form in Turin and has been linked with a summer outing.
The Welshman reminded everyone of his quality with the opening goal in Wales’ 2-0 win over Turkey at Euro 2020 on Wednesday which put the Dragons close to qualifying for the round of 16. final.
And Arsenal legend Campbell insists the midfielder has put himself in the spotlight.
He told talkSPORT: “Aaron Ramsey does amazing races. The timings are perfect, it’s incredible. He has the gift of entering it.
“You need those players who can get in there. You need these guys who can smell, ‘something is opening here’.
“Turkey were playing three at the back, so Ramsey was just waiting for that gap and [Gareth] Bale found him for the first goal. He’s very smart with these races.
“He works hard, he does great descents. He’s a top-notch player. Maybe he’s in the window!
“He could make a little comeback to north London and see what happens at Arsenal – you never know.”
Wales surprised the football world by beating Belgium to reach the semi-finals of Euro 2016.
Campbell backed the Dragons to be a force at Euro 2020 and reach the bottom four again.
“Wales have a very strong squad with Ben Davies, Joe Rodon, Connor Roberts and Danny Ward. They know what they’re doing, ”added Campbell.
“Something is wrong with [defending] corners and free kicks, there were a little too many heads [against Turkey].
“They have to sort it out, but other than that they’re great.
“You have Joe Allen, Aaron Ramsey, Joe Morrell, Gareth Bale, they could easily reach the semi-finals if they keep playing like this. It’s incredible.”
