Social networks are buzzing on Teyana Taylor announcing that she and her husband Iman Shumpert quietly separated after seven seemingly happy years of marriage.

The “Gonna Love Me” singer shared the news on Instagram while denying recent reports that the NBA champion was surprised.

“AH AH AH!” Not too much for my best friend! » Taylor wrote in the now-viral post. “In all honesty, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while. To be 1000% clear, “infidelity” is not one of the reasons we left. We are still best friends, great business partners, and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children. “

In the lengthy post, she indicated that she wanted to confirm their separation in order to prevent false stories from spreading on social media.

“Most importantly, we are a FAMILY and in 10 years together, 7 years of marriage, we have never messed with or about THIS. We keep you all out of the group chat lol, that’s why we were able to successfully and peacefully separate without all the outside noise.

The only reason I’m sharing THIS part of the chat is because the stories are getting a little out of hand and it’s unfair to all parties involved.

This statement comes just days after rumors surfaced that an unidentified woman was shaking Shumpert’s chain.

The woman later denied being involved with him and said they worked on music together because she is an artist on his label.

Naturally, social media went crazy over the shocking news of Jeezy and Jeannie’s explosive breakup.
