Soccer. Mercato: what last day for the Breton clubs? – Soccer

Arrivals expected at Stade Brestois

With only three arrivals (Jere Uronen, Marco Bizot and Grégoire Coudert), the transfer window of the Stade Brestois remains very incomplete. Michel Der Zakarian is hoping for three or four more players. Several tracks are followed by the Stade Brestois. The one that leads to Lucien Agoumé (Inter Milan) is particularly strong: he should sign in the next few hours. We also mention the loaned arrivals of Simon Banza (Lens), Sada Thioub (Angers) and Youssouph Badji (Bruges).

As for the departures, Romain Faivre could sign for AC Milan even if this track has seriously cooled in recent hours, between the “strike” of the player who refused to go to Strasbourg and the fact that AC Milan have moved closer to Adam Ounas, with a fairly close profile. The Italian club, however, made a new offer on Monday evening, refused by Stade Brestois.

FC Lorient recruits in defense

The departures of Andreaw Gravillon for Reims and Trevoh Chalobah (return from loan to Chelsea), forced FC Lorient to strengthen in defense. Just before the start of the championship, the Hakes therefore recruited Brazilian defender Igor Silva, 25 years old, from Osijek in Croatia, for 5 years. And signed, Monday, Moritz Jenz, 22, German central defender, able to play right back, from Lausanne (Switzerland). Regarding the end of the transfer window, “I hope that we will keep all our strength. And if we do, it will prove that we have succeeded in our recruitment, ”Christophe Pelissier explained on Sunday evening.

The Congolese striker Yoane Wissa bade him farewell to the Morbihan club to fly to England with the Brentford club, promoted to the Premier League this season and will not be replaced according to the words of the Lorient coach.

Guingamp: a hoped-for attacker

Eager to reduce its payroll before welcoming one or two offensive reinforcements, En Avant Guingamp has so far failed to get one of its attackers out. After an approach on Sunday, FC Nantes would have finally given up on recruiting Matthias Phaëton and Yannick Gomis, who was eyeing Turkey, was not the subject of any concrete offer.

However, an arrival by Tuesday evening is not yet completely excluded. In search of a quick profile and capable of taking depth, the Breton leaders have activated the track leading to Stéphanois Charles Abi (21 years old), which they would like to obtain the loan from. Under contract with his training club until 2024, this elongated center-forward (1.87 m) is arousing the interest of other Ligue 2 teams.

Stade Rennais: reinforcement behind and in front?

After having separated in recent days and hours from several unwanted people (Guitane in Reims, Soppy in Udinese, Nyamsi in Strasbourg and, to come, Maouassa in Bruges and Léa-Siliki in Middlesbrouh), Stade Rennais still hopes to experience the departures of Eduardo Camavinga and Mbaye Niang. Nothing seems certain for the two… Bound until 2022, “Cama” does not seem to be a priority for any club. Tied until 2023, the Senegalese has a substantial salary, but remains on a failed loan in Saudi Arabia to Al-Ahli.

In terms of arrivals, the defense could receive a reinforcement of experience, due to the busy schedule ahead and the current position of young and inexperienced Omari as third axial. Offensively, Rennes is also waiting for additional reinforcement. The name of Gaëtan Laborde (27, Montpellier) comes back with insistence.
