occer Aid returns this week, with the annual star-studded charity football match returning to London for the third time.
A record £13,014.76 was raised for UNICEF following last year’s clash, in which a dominant World XI won 3-0 against England XI at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester City thanks to goals from Love Island star Kem Cetinay and comedian Lee. Mac.
Footballing big names and celebrities involved in this year’s match have been officially confirmed, with the show set to be hosted by Dermot O’Leary, Maya Jama and Lionesses legend Alex Scott.
There will also be a half-time musical performance from Soccer Aid founder Robbie Williams.

This year, Soccer Aid will be held on Sunday 12 June. Kick-off is at 7.30pm BST.
Television coverage on ITV will start an hour earlier.
Where is Soccer Aid 2022 playing?
After previous visits to Wembley and Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge, the 2022 edition takes place at the London Stadium, home of West Ham.
