Small banks seek to get back to health


Regional banks have been paying out more and more to entice depositors to stay. For many, this is still not enough.

After a poor third quarter, banks presented plans last week to try to recover. Profits fell by double digits from the previous year in several of them, including 44% in KeyCorp32% to Citizens’ Financial and 28% to Truist Financial.
