Thursday’s County Championship match between Middlesex and Gloucestershire at Lord’s will be shown on Sky Sports

This week’s LV = County Championship match between Middlesex and Gloucestershire will be broadcast live on Sky Sports from Thursday.

The four-day match at Lord’s sees leaders Gloucestershire looking to extend their lead in Group 2 as they face fifth-placed Middlesex, who has won just one of their four games this season, losing the other three .

Meanwhile, Gloucestershire are undefeated and enter the game full of confidence after securing a memorable four-wicket victory over Leicestershire last time around, chasing 348 to secure their third win of the campaign.

Sky Sports will help and add to the regular coverage of the Middlesex CCC stream with Mike Atherton, Nasser Hussain, Rob Key and Ian Ward joining Adam Collins and Matt Floyd to provide expert commentary and analysis.

“We’re going to take one of those streams – the Middlesex home stream against Gloucestershire at Lord’s. We’re in a new kind of conference system this year which leads to a divisional system in September.

“We saw a lot of interesting games, a lot of quality cricket, some good storylines as well as players getting back into shape like youngster Haseeb Hameed in Nottinghamshire all four days starting Thursday!

“Gloucestershire are doing very well, leading Group 2, Middlesex not very well but I hope we have a good game.”
