Six Nations 2022 TV schedule: How to watch for FREE on TV and online

I

It’s that time of year again when the Six Nations dominate the rugby agenda for the next six weeks.

With a sensational autumn victory over New Zealand behind them, Antoine Dupont and France are the clear favorites to end a 12-year wait for glory in March.

2020 champions England finished a dismal fifth in the table last year and will surely show a big improvement after beating Australia and South Africa in November, although their preparation has been littered with problems – notably the loss of captain Owen Farrell for the All Six Nations to a freak ankle injury.

A host of injuries look likely to prevent Wales from competing successfully to defend their crown, despite impressive Ireland having won all of their previous eight Test matches – including a dominating autumn campaign in which she also dispatched the All Blacks.

Finn Russell-led Scotland have the best chance to launch a charge with a Calcutta Cup home clash at Murrayfield, but for Italy the wooden spoon once again looks a likely certainty amid more questions on their position in the competition.

Can the Azzurri end a seven-year Six Nations winless streak?

In the UK, the Six Nations television rights continue to be shared by the BBC and ITV, with every match remaining live on free-to-air TV after a new four-year deal concluded last year.

Here’s how to watch every Six Nations 2022 match live and free in the UK…
