Jacob McLaughlin, 18, originally created “Sing Your Dialect” on Twitter Spaces just for himself and four friends.

However, after the link went viral on Monday, more than 200,000 people, including countless sports stars and celebrities, have all had a blast with the virtual microphone over the past two evenings.

Since then, McLaughlin’s Twitter profile (@ jacobbmc2) has amassed just under 100,000 followers in just over 48 hours.

West Ham and England midfielder Declan Rice stepped up a gear on Tuesday, giving listeners a special rendition of Vanilla Ice’s much-loved “Ice, Ice Baby”.
