Shrewsbury 3 – 3 Doncaster

Doncaster produced an incredible comeback to draw 3-3 at Shrewsbury but still look set for relegation from League One.

Daniel Udoh scored his 16th goal of the season after 19 minutes before Ryan Bowman doubled the lead with a 34th-minute header and Shaun Whalley added a third before the break.

Mipo Odubeko pulled one back early in the second half and Reo Griffiths set up a 77th-minute stand finish before Kyle Knoyle equalized in injury time to snatch a point for Rovers.

Udoh headed home after hanging on to a punt from Luke Leahy and Bowman headed home his 13th goal of the campaign after a pinpoint cross from Josh Vela to give Shrews control.

Whalley added to the scoring in the 42nd minute, pushing George Nurse’s delivery into the far corner.

The Reds found hope when Odubeko fired a stray ball into the net from 12 yards out in the 54th minute.

Substitute Griffiths then slotted into Doncaster’s second, running on a through ball from Josh Martin to set up a grand final.

Surprisingly, Knoyle kicked in a deserved last-gasp leveler – although that’s unlikely to count for much as Doncaster are six points from safety and have a worse goal difference, with two games to go.
