Shocking video shows SUV ramming NYPD motorcycle officer on Grand Central Parkway – CBS New York

NEW YORK (CBS New York) – An NYPD motorcycle officer recovers after an SUV rammed his bike on the Grand Central Parkway.

It happened Saturday afternoon in the eastbound lanes approaching the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Queens.

The video shows the SUV changing lanes before driving through a group of police motorcycles.

An officer was knocked off his bike and to the ground. He was treated at a local hospital for neck, back and hip injuries, then released.
