Shawn Marion has a chip on his shoulder about his legacy.
Earlier this week, a Twitter Spaces fussed over which basketball players could have been the best of all time, had they had some help.
Marion, 43, found his way inside and spoke at length about why he deserves to be remembered as a better player, swearing just about every other word in the process.
Marion entered the NBA with the Suns in 1999, then played for the Heat, Raptors, Cavaliers and Mavericks before concluding his career in 2015. He was a four-time All-Star and won a championship with the Mavericks in 2011.
He’s still not happy with people making fun of his shooting form.
“Get the fk out of here,” he said. “I shoot 35-40 percent from the f-king 3-point line at one point in my career. I was a very consistent jump shooter. So you sit there and tell me you’re gonna talk about my fucking shooting but not talking about anything I’m doing on the floor? Get the f–k out of here. Suck my dk.

Marion finally said he could have gotten more individual awards, but he played to contribute to team wins.
“I adapted my game to each team because I wanted to win,” said Marion. “I have one of the best winning percentages in NBA history. [note: Marion did not crack HoopsHype’s top 50 list in this category last year]. Believe that. I’m sitting here waiting for all these other bulls – like I’m a boxer and I don’t have a footprint on this game.”
