Shah Rukh Khan-starring is first Bollywood film to cross Rs 400 crore in India, targets KGF 2
On Saturday, Shah Rukh Khan star actor Pathaan broke the 400 crore mark in India and became the first Bollywood film to cross the 400 crore mark. Released on January 25, directed by Siddharth Anand, it has now earned Rs 401.40 crore at the Indian box office. This figure even includes the total collection from the Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions of Pathaan.
Taran Adarsh posted Pathaan’s collection and also confirmed that SRK’s film beat Aamir Khan’s Dangal Lifetime Collection (India). The 2018 sports drama collected Rs 387 crores in India. Taran also added that Pathaan is now expected to beat Yash-starrer Indian collection KGF Chapter 2. According to the figure shared by Bollywood Hungama, the KGF sequel has collected Rs 434 crores.

Pathaan is the fourth installment of YRF Spy Universe, starting from Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and War (2019). The next installment in the universe will be Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif-star Tiger 3, slated for release on Diwali 2023.
