AUSTIN (KXAN) — After two large supercell storms wreaked havoc across several Central Texas counties Thursday, several viewers began sending in videos and photos.
KXAN’s First Alert Weather Team reported that San Marcos and Johnson City suffered significant damage from windblown hail.
The National Weather Service even received a report of 5-inch hail from a meteorologist and storm chaser in Johnson City, Blanco County. NWS lists hail of this size as CD or DVD size!
