Texas Governor Greg Abbott said Monday that the seventh bus full of undocumented migrants released in his state is on his way to Washington, DC, with the steps of the United States Capitol as his final destination.

Abbott told “Hannity” he was forced to come up with “new ideas for doing the federal government’s job” as border checkpoints struggled to manage the flow of people trying to enter the United States and the Biden administration’s decision to eliminate the deportation from the Title 42. provision.

ABBOTT APPROVES USE OF BUSES TO TRANSPORT MIGRANTS FROM TEXAS TO CAPITAL STAGES IN DC

“It’s an atrocity that we have a president of the United States who doesn’t secure the border. He’s breaking laws passed by Congress to secure the border and on top of that we have a president who turns a blind eye to the security – by allowing people on terrorist watch lists to enter the United States of America,” Abbott said.

“What the President is doing is outrageous and as a result, Texas is taking unprecedented action. As we speak, the seventh bus is en route from Texas to Washington, DC. This bus transportation process will continue” , Abbott said. .

Abbott last week ordered the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to begin transporting illegal immigrants released from Texas federal custody to Washington, D.C. and other locations outside Lone State. Star. Charter buses have since dropped off migrants — many of whom have been released into small Texas communities that Abbott says are overwhelmed — in Washington.

“The Biden administration, they were dropping off illegal immigrants only in small towns on the border,” Abbott told Sean Hannity. “And I said, we’re not going to allow that to happen. People in the local communities were overrun by the people they dumped in those local communities, and they were wondering how to deal with it.”

Abbott’s plan appears to have caught the attention of the White House. In the days after the move was announced, fewer communities complained about the dumping of immigrants in their cities by federal authorities, Abbott told Fox News.

“Good news that Jen Psaki didn’t tell you…Border Patrol will no longer be dropping people off at local communities where we transported people from,” Abbott said.

Abbott said he plans to send migrants to Delaware next if he runs out of space in DC

“We’ll load them up and send them to Washington, D.C. If we run out of space there,” he told Hannity, “Delaware sounds like a great place.”
