The 35-year-old veteran is yet to appear for the Ligue 1 giants after a move to Paris when his contract at Real Madrid expires this summer.
Such was the extent of his injury concerns, reports suggested that PSG were considering terminating the two-year contract he handed them in July.
Now, however, Ramos is set to play in his first competitive game since Madrid’s Champions League semi-final loss to Chelsea in May.
PSG enter the game at the Parc des Princes at the top of Group A but did not particularly impress under Mauricio Pochettino despite his advances in Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
Still, they can secure entry into the round of 16 with a win over City, even if a loss would end their hopes of winning the group.
