Serena Williams’ daughter models a miniature version of iconic tennis queen outfit

Serena Williams’ 3 year old daughter is an old fashioned flea.

Alexis Olympia Ohanian (who is often referred to as Olympia) was pictured hitting the pitch on Wednesday in a mini version of the Flo-Jo-inspired catsuit her mother wore to the Australian Open in February.

We will call it a resounding success.

Here is Williams in the original number.

Serena Williams showcased the Flo-Jo-inspired catsuit during her first round match against Laura Siegemund in February.

Photos of Olympia posing with a racket were posted on the child’s Instagram account, presumably by her pop artist, Alexis Ohanian.

“Awwwww mannnnnn, I asked you to save this post until I’m next to her in my same outfit,” Williams wrote in a comment below the post, per People.

“I guess I’ll have to unplug your phone tonight,” she added. “And you wake up wondering why you don’t have a battery 🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️ LOL.”

Williams wore the outfit – a tribute to the late Olympic sprint champion Florence Griffith Joyner, who had a penchant for one-legged track uniforms during her run to the semi-finals of the Australian Open. She lost to eventual champion Naomi Osaka.

Time will tell how the outfit will serve Williams’ daughter. Olympia seems to have started playing sports. At the Australian Open, Williams posted a video of Olympia working with her mother’s coach, Patrick Mouratoglou.

“Tennis Diaries,” the 23-time Grand Slam singles winner captioned the clip.

Williams lost in the fourth round at Roland Garros earlier this month.
