A judge has granted Selma Blair a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend.

The actress, 49, filed for a restraining order on February 25, claiming her former partner of seven years, Ronald Carlson, assaulted her on February 22.

In court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Blair detailed the encounter. She said Carlson came to her house to return a television. Blair had just completed treatment for multiple sclerosis, which left her weak, and she informed Carlson that she was not feeling well.

Blair alleges Carlson then verbally abused her, calling her ‘useless’ and ‘crippled’ adding, ‘I don’t deserve this, I can do so much better than you.’ Carlson reportedly ended this verbal assault by saying, “I can’t take this anymore and I hope you can find someone else, good luck you’re a loser”.

In court documents, Blair detailed that Carlson “became enraged” and allegedly physically assaulted her, “jumping over her body as she lay on the couch.” She claims he “choked her, choked her and shook her head and shoulders aggressively”.

Blair claims she then responded in self-defense, putting her fingers in Carlson’s eyes and mouth as she called for help from her housekeeper, who was upstairs.

Apparently, Carlson then put his hand over her mouth and face, “pushing her into the couch,” according to the documents, rendering Blair “unable to breathe.”

Blair then briefly became unconscious before the physical altercation continued. Blair alleges that Carlson slapped her, “causing her to fall back to the ground and start bleeding from her nose.”

Carlson reportedly said he would “kill you” several times before fleeing the scene.

After her ex-boyfriend left, Blair called the Los Angeles Police Department, who responded with a house visit. Documents say that once she spoke with officers, her nose started bleeding and she passed out. She was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Carlson was arrested later that evening for a crime of domestic violence with bodily harm. Due to the arrest, a five-day protective order obtained by the LAPD was placed against him, according to court documents.

Blair mentioned in the filing that she was afraid of Carlson and claimed he had an unregistered, loaded firearm in a guest bathroom at his home.

Blair’s son Arthur, 10, and Carlson’s child attend the same school, and Blair has not requested any contact from Carlson towards her or her son at the scene.
