It was Anne who ended up sending Harry’s X factor application when he had cold feet.

“People tell me I’m a good singer. It’s normally my mother,” the already flirtatious 16-year-old said when he auditioned for The X Factor in the spring of 2010, playing Stevie Wonders“Isn’t she beautiful” a cappella. “Singing is what I want to do and if the people who can make it happen for me think I shouldn’t do it, then that’s a major setback in my plans.”

“We basically just had the idea to do a lot of names,” Zayn said on Hot 97.5 FM from Phoenix in 2012, “and that was one of the first names Harry came up with. ‘just texted and we were like, ‘Yeah, I like that, that’s cool.’ There were a few really embarrassing ones that Liam found… What was the other one?
