With teeth like these, Malone substation must really feel like a rockstar these days. After all, he has a dozen carats of diamonds in his smile.
Monday June 14, Dr Thomas Connelly (or as his Instagram biography proclaims, “The Father of Diamond Dentistry”) showed off his finished work on his Grammy-nominated client: porcelain veneers topped with two …diamond fangs. “This is my first time doing something of this magnitude,” Connelly told E! New. “I made little diamonds here and there that were encrusted inside a plating, but that’s the whole tooth.”
We already know what you are thinking: can he to chew with those in it? “These are meant to stay in place and work,” assured the dentist. “They’re not going anywhere.”
If you suddenly think your smile might need a little extra sparkle, prepare to pay: According to Connelly, the entire rebuild cost $ 1.6 million. As Samuel tack of Angel City Jewelers confirmed to E! News: “They total about 12 carats for the pair. Let’s just say Posty has a million dollar smile.”
And they are not only any diamond. “These are flawless D diamonds and they strike all over the piece,” Connelly noted. “It sparkles like you’ve never seen it before.”
If the 25-year-old singer wasn’t already in an elite club, he certainly is now. “We’ve made standard grillz, cut diamonds, and tooth-encrusted bezels, but to my knowledge,” said Tack, “no one has ever made a full diamond tooth for an implant before.”
