SEC’s Gensler Backs Commodity Regulator Having Bitcoin Oversight

Mr Gensler, speaking at an industry conference, said on Thursday he looked forward to working with Congress to give the Commodity Futures Trading Commission additional power, as the agency has need for greater authority to oversee and regulate “unsecured tokens…and related intermediaries. ”
