Sean McVay, Aaron Donald to ‘go back’ with the Rams?

Before the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 to win Super Bowl LVI, rumors surfaced that head coach Sean McVay and All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald could retire if the Rams emerged victorious from last Sunday’s game. Both Super Bowl champions took part in Wednesday’s celebratory parade and, according to Pro Football Talk’s Michael David Smith, hinted they could return for at least one more season.

After Donald was asked about the future, McVay chanted “Turn him back! Turn him back!” to the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Donald seemed open to the idea while addressing enthusiastic Rams fans as part of the final moments of Wednesday’s event.

“We’ve built a great team,” Donald said of the new champions. “We’re going to bring back a great team! Why not revive it? We can be world champions again.”
