The stars were aligned in Washington, DC
The red carpet was rolled out for the annual Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday, December 5, attracting an array of well-known guests to celebrate this year’s winners. Among them there was a new mom Scarlett johansson, who shone in a sequined halterneck dress from Dolce & Gabbana, alongside her husband and Saturday Night Live Star Colin Jost. Companion SNL the cast members and alumni were also present, among them the new man from Kim kardashianlife, Pierre Davidson, as good as Seth Meyer, Amy poehler and Kate mckinnon.
The celebrities in attendance all gathered inside the Kennedy Center in the nation’s capital, where they were joined by the President Joe biden, First lady Jill biden, Vice president Kamala harris and second gentleman Doug emhoff, to honor the last five inductees to the Kennedy Center Honors: the opera singer Justino diaz, Motown producer Gordy Bay, Saturday Night Live Creator Lorne michaels and singers Bette Midler and Joni mitchell.
“Thank you so much to the Kennedy Center for validating this crazy dream I had as a child,” Midler said in his acceptance speech. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
