Sarah Michelle Gellar Recalls Hundreds of Onlookers Watching ‘Cruel Intentions’ Kiss
“So where did everyone go to have lunch, walk and be outside? Central Park,” Gellar told BuzzFeed UK in an interview on Saturday. “Guess where we were shooting that scene? Central Park. So we had about 250 spectators; it was like a live performance.
Gellar added that “it was so loud because it was so crowded” and they “had to re-record the whole scene afterwards, every line.” Blair’s mother, who was on set, asked her daughter if she should “use so much language,” Gellar recalled.

“I mean, why wait?” Gellar told People in 2021. “We do it all the time. I like this girl. She has a very smooth face and is very easy to kiss.
