Their terms were not immediately disclosed.
The San Antonio Fire Department said a tree fell on a group, with the zoo adding that guests were the injured just after noon.
First aid emergency personnel were on the scene shortly after the branch broke and fell “unexpectedly”, the zoo said in a statement.
“The San Antonio Zoo Security/EMT team responded quickly and began treating guests. San Antonio Park Police, San Antonio Police and San Antonio Fire Department responded within minutes,” part of the zoo’s statement says.
Aerial footage taken following the falling branches showed much of a tree resting on the ground and covering part of a footpath. The part where the branch broke was also seen by the camera of a press helicopter.

A news helicopter captured what was left of a tree with a large branch that had broken off inside the San Antonio Zoo on March 15, 2023.
