Samsung has just announced its highly anticipated Galaxy S22 lineup, but many of those who have tried to pre-order the new smartphones are reporting that they can’t actually complete their purchases. Many report glitches or just a blank screen that seems to load forever at checkout, and this is also where I ran into issues when trying to purchase a few combinations of locked and unlocked phone models.
Here are some examples of people writing to Samsung’s support account on Twitter asking for help:
@SamsungSupport hello, I’ve been trying to pre-order for at least two hours, but when it’s time to checkout, the page turns, then finally your cart is empty.

Samsung’s support account responds to people who contact them, although responses vary, including requests to DM and suggestions to call the company’s e-commerce team. It is not clear if these steps will lead to a final purchase. A Samsung spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The edge.
If you still want to pre-order one of the new S22 phones, we’ve listed a whole bunch of other stores where you can pick up the devices. And be sure to check out our first look at the Note-like Galaxy S22 Ultra and the S22/S22 Plus.
