Saints vs. Panthers odds, predictions, picks: “MNF” under

Both New Orleans and Carolina’s Over/Under are down several points since Game 1, as both are coming from low-scoring games in Week 1.

The Saints held the Titans out of the end zone in a 16-15 home victory as Tennessee made five field goals.

New Orleans made three field goals and scored its only touchdown late in the third quarter on a Derek Carr strike to wide receiver Rashid Shaheed.

It was a less than impressive debut for top pick Bryce Young as the rookie was intercepted twice during a 24-10 loss at Atlanta.

The Panthers’ only bright spot was their defense, which limited Atlanta to 221 yards of offense.

But Carolina’s offense mustered just three points in the second half.

These NFC South rivals have had a nice stretch of low-scoring games recently as the Under are 5-0 lately in the series.

The Saints managed to score 21 points in their last two games at Bank of America Stadium, while being shut out for the first three quarters in last year’s 22-14 loss at Charlotte.

New Orleans is 9-1 under last season, while the Panthers are 5-3 under in their last eight home games.

Betting on the NFL?

Both of these defenses are solid and given that Young will need some time to adjust to the NFL, the Under in this Monday night game deserves a close look.

THE GAME: Saints-Panthers Under 39.5 (-105, FanDuel)
